AND AFTER THAT?

Would we one day want to lose our most precious, dearest child, forever? Even the thought of it makes us sad... Thinking about their absence makes us emotional...

Can we imagine that one day our peaceful house, which we’ve furnished with great enthusiasm and turned into our palace, might collapse and be destroyed in an earthquake? Even talking about it makes us uneasy...

Our endless fights for some jewellery, the car we’ve purchased with huge debts, our beloved spouse who we will sacrifice our lives for, and the fact that our life will collapse when our professions are taken away from us, will one day make no sense anymore…

Just like the most beautiful rose fades in the end, will one day everything come to an end...

Even if the one who loves the rose endures its thorns, that ending is very painful. Even if we are not ready for the end, it will definitely knock on our door one day...

We didn't think and understand our limited, precious time. Oh if only we could turn back time... If only we could turn it back to be aware that it will end one day, and appreciate its presence.

But we do not have such authority. The time is up! Our hands are tied.

There is nothing we can do but accept it.

Just like the ongoing badness in the world. The cruel war will eventually stop. One day, the oppression will end. 

And then?

What do the cruel’s think will happen? 

Will they get away with it?

As our elders said; "what goes around comes around!"

And after the end, the cries of the oppressors with regret echo in our ears: "Oh, if only we could turn back time!" 

But what was it? After time’s up, our hands are tied. There is nothing we can do except accept it.

Now, we still have time. As it is said in the song; "Time is on my side, yes it is

Time is on my side, yes it is..." Our time is not over yet. Whatever we do now, is for our profit. Whatever we do is to our advantage.

The oppressors also have time. For now, they destroy and burn. Homes as well as dreams. They are mocking the victims and not afraid. As if they won't be held accountable. They are not upset, they do not care. As if they are insensitive. They are currently mocking the oppressed. 

But what so after?
